Super bingo to benefit Gilpin K9 officer

A super bingo to benefit Gilpin K9 Officer Rudy will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at the township firehall, 113 Firehall Road.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Admission is $50 and includes one game pack and one special pack. Extra game packs will be sold at the door and the kitchen will be open. Regular game payouts will be $60, specials will be $300 each and there will be one must-go jackpot game that will award $2,000. There will be a silent auction, strip tickets and a 50/50.

Tickets will be sold at the firemen’s regular bingo Thursdays at the firehall, at the municipal building, 589 Route 66, or by calling Sharon at 724-845-0981.

Art exhibit to feature works of Brackenridge student

The New Kensington Art Center, 950 Fifth Ave., will display the works of Rayna Robinson from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday during the Fridays on Fifth event.

A sophomore at Highlands High School, Harrison, Rayna is the daughter of Raymond and Hazel Robinson of Brackenridge and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Refreshments will be served.

Cash bash planned Sept. 17 in East Vandergrift

Our Lady, Queen of Peace Parish will host a cash bash Sept. 17 in the church social hall, 411 McKinley Ave., East Vandergrift.

Doors open at 5 p.m. The first number will be pulled at 7 p.m. Admission is $25 and includes five numbers, food and beverages. There will be strip tickets, a basket auction and 50/50 raffles. Those attending must be at least 21. For tickets, call Crystal at 724-882-9212.
